CARBON CYCLING – The Missing Link in the Carbon Debate?

Global Enterprise Week Outstanding Impact Award 2010On Thursday, 18th November 2010 FREdome delivered a presentation to the UK All Party Parliamentary Climate  Change Group, highlighting the threat of soil degradation and desertification to national and international carbon, water and nutrient cycles, and proposing a sustainable solution.

The meeting was chaired by the Rt Hon Katy Clark MP.

Debate

It is plausible and potentially beneficial to conduct research into an international project to transport outfall-piped organic waste from European shores in returning tankers to irrigate and fertilise self-sustaining agro-forestry from desert coastal regions – converting carbon emissions and organic waste into food and fuel.
